DEscription
Saltram Meadows, formerly know as Plymstock Quarry, was granted outline planning consent in 2011 for a major redevelopment scheme consisting of 1,684 new homes, employment uses, food retail, community uses and extensive open space and leisure facilities. This large site totals 72 hectares and, being a former quarry, is subject to technical complexities and challenges as is being built out in phases in accordance with an approved master plan.
By the end of 2020, the first four phases equating to approximately one third of the developable site area, had been largely completed including the provision of a new primary school. In April 2021, Blue Fox was instructed by Persimmon Homes to assist in delivering future phases of the development including discharging planning conditions, and the preparation of reserved matters applications and/or new full planning applications. Blue Fox has also provided advice on the s106 Legal Agreement relating to the original outline planning condidtion and Planning Performance Agreements entered into with Plymouth City Council.
